We are delighted to share that the University of Mumbai Men's Badminton Team has delivered an exceptional performance at the 5th Edition of the Khelo India University Games (KIUG) 2025, held in Rajasthan.

As many of you know, KIUG is India's largest national-level multi-sport event for university athletes, organized by the Government of India to identify and promote the country's top sporting talent. Participating and excelling in this prestigious tournament is a remarkable achievement in itself.

Today, in the semifinals, the University of Mumbai team defeated Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam (Kerala) with an impressive 3-0 victory, securing their place in the Finals.

We are extremely proud to share that:

Prof. Sushant Divekar, our Physical Director, has been appointed by the University of Mumbai as the Manager of the Men's Badminton Team.

Two out of the seven players, Abhyuday Choudhary (TYBMS) & Zhakuo Seyie (SYBMS) representing the University of Mumbai are students of our institution, making this accomplishment even more special for us as their parent institute and as part of Thane district.

Now, as the Finals are scheduled for tomorrow, we are aiming for the championship title. Let's cheer for our team and wish them the very best for the Finals!

🏆 PROUD MOMENT FOR ANAND VISHWA GURUKUL SCHOOL, THANE 🏆

We are delighted to share that Mst. Shivansh Vinayak Khot, a student of Std. III, has showcased an outstanding performance at the 5th Open Roller Skating Championship 2025 organized by Achiever’s Skating Academy.

⛸️ Competing in the Under-8 Speed Skating Category, Shivansh secured:
🥈 2nd Position – Short Race
🥉 4th Position – Long Race

His dedication, discipline, and talent truly shone through as he represented his academy with pride. Shivansh received a Certificate of Merit along with medals and recognition during the award ceremony.
